Sounds like a great trip, I got back from the Lakes yesterday - a trip for my birthday. Funnily enough, the gaffer said the route I wanted to take would take tool long also :eusa-think:
Still had a great run up there & back, used as many side roads as I though I could get away with, but the...
Sounds like it could be a faulty sensor. The fan & heater may well react to the info from the temp sensor, so if it is dodgy, it could throw up a few issues.
:greetings-wavingblue: Welcome :text-welcomewave:
Not the best start to your ownership of one of the best looking cars on the roads today, but don’t worry, it’s on,y a small issue, and the car is definitely worth it.
I would definitely get it back to where you bought it, although it’s...
I saw a review of the latest TT & I honestly thought they had used an old photo  I couldn’t see any difference from the photo to the last one they did
You only need to look at F1 cars. They have the best materials available, they have the best mechanics available, they strip the engines down and rebuild them every week, testing every available part, and yet, every week, we see cars suffering mechanical breakdowns either in FP, Quali, or the...
Yes that’s the post that shows the bolt heads. As for visible differences between Mk1/2 the most obvious is the front, MkI’s having inset front fog lights, MkII’s have led drl’s. A quick google images will soon show what I mean.
The tensioner fitted to the MkII was a modified part (which sparks the question, If Peugeot acknowledges that the part needed modifying, how come they didn’t either recall all the MkI’s & replace the part FOC or do a free replacement via a “notice” to dealers when a MkI came in with the...
Re: Tire pressure monitoring sensors.
I think it needs to detect “significant” drop in pressure. It’s not really designed as a pressure measuring device, more of a puncture warning thingy, from what I understand.
Re: Tire pressure monitoring sensors.
I wouldn’t hold out for any great help from Pug dealers, I once asked if they could swap my front wheels to the back to even out tyre wear while they had the car in for another matter. They told me that wasn’t possible as the wheels were “registered” in...
I just had a really worrying thought,
I get on really well with our postman, and he usually stops & has a chat (cos I’m always outside washing my car :eusa-whistle: )
I was telling him about the cop at the bottom of the hill & he said he would keep an eye out for any fine & bin it if he saw one...
So,
it’s now 3 weeks since I went past this constable pointing his thing at me at the side of the road, & I still haven’t had anything through the post.
I take it that he was either asleep, or the brakes on my GT200 took me down from 41 to 28 so quickly he couldn’t get an accurate reading...
I think you can buy a can of slime type stuff from almost anywhere, I think I’ve even seen it Asda. But as has been pointed out, I don’t think it is likely to fail because of this.
All is well, worry not
The bulbs are a redundant feature. When you select sidelights, the DRL’s are on dimmed. During daytime use, they are on bright. When the dipped beam comes on, the DRL’s are dimmed again.
Your car will pass it’s MOT, unless you get some numpty like I once did...
