You need to go to one of the meets that are posted on this forum. You will be beside yourself seeing all those RCZ’s in convoy.
Btw there are 4 on my estate - sorry 😁
Welcome to the forum👋
If you’re not too bothered about performance, the 156 is no slouch. The first RCZ I test drove many years ago was a 156 MKII. I was so impressed I went on to test a 200, which I admit blew me away. It was before the R came out, so it was at the time the fastest production...
Yes it is back to normal now. I had similar issues in December last year, we replaced all 4 coil packs & plugs & that sorted it out for a few months, then we had the EML again with the HPFP failing. This was in conjunction with an intermittent misfire & occasional limp mode.
A new fuel rail &...
When my HPFP was failing and I had an EML on the dash, I also had the fan running like a jet engine for @20-30 minutes after switching off, so it seems various EML causes can trigger this.
Still have the original battery in mine. Touch wood, never had any issues with it & now we have a new Range Rover, there are many occasions when it’s left some time between drives. It’s 7 years old now. Car has just done 50k
I used Evans Halshaw Wakefield Peugeot for years. They were very good. They also had a Vauxhall dealership in Wakefield. Then they closed the Peugeot site & split the Vauxhall site so half Vauxhall, half Peugeot. Ever since, whenever I call up & they ask my name, they insist I have a Vauxhall...
£235 sounds too cheap. The kit is nearly £200 I believe, and that’s not garage prices. So working on garage labour costs, it seems they’re going to get the job done in @ 2 minutes 🤔
I fear for the future of “traditional” sports cars. I think the future of fast cars will be electric, and sadly, at the moment they are either ridiculously expensive or a sole less blob.
I would understand if they tweaked the design a little to make it slightly more 2021 and stuck a high torque...
My OH has sold soooo much stuff on Shpock but as you say about Gumtree, don’t ask for what you want to get. She’s sold stuff worth £50 asked £25 and been offered £10.
This car is very particular about oil. Don’t wait for the low oil warning (never a good thing on any car) but with the Z that can be too late. Regular oil checks are a must as it does use oil. Make sure you use the correct grade oil if not using the recommended manufacturer, as there have been...
About the only thing that’s going to cost a large sum would be replacing the brakes & discs, unless there are any fault codes. The R is probably the second most reliable of the bunch after the diesel.
