I use only soft99 products, the fusso wax is the one to go for if you want longevity but some of the other products repel water better but don’t last as long, water block is a good one fast on and off but only lasts up to 4 months where fusso is supposed to last 12 months.
I’ve just tried the...
Just as I thought when I saw your post, you have the genuine leather dash upgrade, most have the simulated leather, and I’m afraid it’s only the genuine leather that reportedly does this, I would have thought a good retrimmer would be able to stretch and re glue the leather back but it’s...
Yes they’re quite tough to get off it’s just the silver part that splits from the handle use a plastic trim removal tool and work from the top when you get near the bottom there’s like a plastic clip that goes through a hoop so you have to release this don’t just pull or you’ve a chance of...
Hi and welcome, glad the forum has been a great source of info for your purchase and there’s always plenty of members willing to give any advise on your new car 👍
Hi and welcome, the headlamp washer jet covers are quite hard to come by as most breakers sell the bumpers complete but you may get lucky even if you can’t get the exact colour you could have them sprayed.
How long had the car been running? Could be a faulty temp sensor but this shouldn’t have killed the full electrical system, there have been reports of power module failures this is the unit that the battery connects to quite expensive to replace from Peugeot but available secondhand for a lot less
Did the fans come on? Usually with overheating issues and some engine fault lights the fans go mad even after the engine is turned off. Is the heat shield still on the turbo? If this had been removed it could heat up the bonnet?
“Fragile”?? Don’t be fooled by all the 156 knockers there’s plenty of 200’s and R’s that have had had the common timing chain issues, there were over twice as many 156’s over 200’s manufactured so your always going to get more 156 owners reporting problems.
Yep you’ve got it 😱 if it sounds like that get it sorted before you wreck the motor as Pedro said you could just try the tensioner but many have found the guides to be broken upon strip down.
I don’t think Alcon made any revised discs for the R, the common complaint from owners were that they were squealing which I’ve heard is common on race spec brakes, but don’t quote me on that 😉 I think when R owners found out that Peugeot would replace R discs under warranty most owners wanted a...
The lion does come off it’s just double sided tape plus some locating tabs. Use fishing line or similar to cut away at the old tape to remove them either mask off and spray or vinyl wrap 👍
Peugeot actually offered two options of carbon roof one high gloss the other matte As Verminator said my launch edition came as standard with the high gloss version, the option on other models would have set you back £1300!
