Those power figures were after mapping , stock it had 271 bhp an only 276 bhp and another 30 nm off torque but after a while it developed a water leak on the main bearing housing on the turbo so had the turbo rebuilt at midland turbo . I decided to put it back to stock as I would prefer...

Had mine done and it was much better in mid range but ended up causing me problems , had to get the turbo rebuilt so had it put back to stock ! Never again !! 270 bhp out of a 1600 is enough I would stick with reliability

I hope so I rang them today and they told me they were waiting on a rubber seal and a new alloy seal plate that’s in the door shut , there is a app they gave me to check on the progress , an I checked earlier in the week an it said 92% an today it’s 66% I hope it doesn’t get written off

Yes with everything shut down it’s taking longer than usual it was supposed to be done today an I’m really missing my car now

Update peeps my car has been in for repair a month now so I called the body shop an it looks like another month as can’t get the parts .

I had trouble with one off mine it sheared of so got t it out by jamming an old socket over it ! Then I got 4 second hand bolts for a fiver at the breakers there the same as 307/308 bolts just check the length .

Well I’m hoping it will be fixed as I had to take 14 pictures of the car but they think it can be done but not till they have had a proper look . I have had a fair few cars over the years including a RS4 but it could really drain your wallet at a alarming rate where as the R is about 85 % of...
