Is the cable cut or has a bite in the insulation?
It doesn't show up well in the photo.
If it only has a bite you can finish cutting it, solder it with tin and slide a heat shrink wrap
The THP turbo engine regulates the intake manifold absolute pressure measured with the MAP sensor.
This is regulated with the turbo solenoid valve that moves the turbo wastegate.
If on the engine maps the pressure has to go to 1 bar, it will go equal to 1 bar even if you change the filter. The...
But what it sucks from the inside is minimal, there are some plastic pieces so it can take in the fresh air through a space in the grille between the headlight and the radiator.
When I bought the car the locking key was broken, unusable, I went to the Peugeot agency and ordered a key for €92, I had to show the documentation of the car. It arrived a week later.
I was able to easily remove 3 of the 4 screws, the fourth took a lot more but it came out at the end, leaning...
Look at the filter that I explained in the previous messages.
It is a small and strange filter since it is like rubber, but a porous rubber, it is about 2-3 cm long, it seems that if it gets stained with oil it clogs.
The turbo solenoid valve opens the wastegate with vacuum, but then it needs...
MAP stands for Manifold Absolute Pressure which is mounted on the intake manifold, #12 on the diagram, it's only one, the others are not MAP sensors.
Also, if the problem is that the sensor is dirty, it is usually not necessary to change it, just clean it with Contact Cleaner spray
I say that...
Part #9,
That little cylinder it has is a filter and it may be clogged, it's not in the same place as the 156HP, you'll have to look under it to find it. No need to change it, just clean it.
#8 is the turbo solenoid
The photo is from a 156HP but I suppose it will be similar in 200HP.
On the arrow there is a small tube that comes from the turbo solenoid valve with a filter on the end.
What finally solved P2263 for me is cleaning that filter. The mechanic had also changed previously the turbo solenoid valve.
I totally agree, also those filters inside the engine compartment catch hot air, which is less dense, and therefore power is lost.
As you can see in your car, the original system has ducts to take in fresh air from outside.
The intake systems of the cars on origin are not usually so badly...
How long has it been since you changed the oil ?, dirty oil can cause these problems.
Change it more often than the manufacturer says.
The VVT is actuated by oil pressure.
If softer springs are used, the suspension would easily reach bottom end with impacts, the result would be even worse.
The original car has the proper springs for the suspension travel.
Also if the shock absorbers are worn it can increase the discomfort.
Hard suspension is intrinsic to a...
2 hours ?
Where you have had so much problem, I am convinced that in 15 minutes I will do it.
I've taken it out and back several times to get better access to other parts, like the petrol high pressure pump.
It is not necessary to disassemble those terminals with nuts, as in the video, the fuse container can be separated enough without disconnecting terminals.
The cover swings up.
When you place the new battery, put it as far forward as possible towards you, if it is fixed further back you will...
Several solenoids in the THP motor are not controlled with an on-off 0-12V signal but progressively with PWM (power width modulation).
The ECU controls the solenoid valve depending on the revolutions, sensors etc.
The VVT and the turbo control solenoid valves work like this and I think the high...
A 215/55 17 wheel from a Peugeot 407 fits perfectly in the space without raising the boot floor.
The tire external diameter is close the same.
The screws are also compatible with the RCZ. I think that to design the RCZ they took advantage of parts of the 407
But it can only be mounted on the...
Those wired readers are not compatible with all car brands.
Get this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/MMOBIEL-OBD2-Scanner-Bluetooth-Android/dp/B0B9YPPTLC/ref=sr_1_5 and with the free Torque app in your phone you will see the codes and erase it too.
Verified that it works in RCZ
