Welcome Daniel. You will not get tired of looking back at the car when you’ve parked up. Get ready for the admiring glances too.
I’ve had mine over 7 years & only last week two workmen visiting a neighbour came over to have a look “what it was” They said they had no idea Peugeot made anything...
When I’m going down a road, when the road turns one way or the other, how do I get the car to follow the road? I’ve tried all the pedals & they confused me, but the car still went in a straight line.🤔
😉🤫🤣
Yes, it’s painted metal. If you have access to a DA and rubbing compound you should be able to remove it, depending on the depth of the scratch. Even a good polish with a DA will have a chance of making it look a lot better.
No DA? Looks like a bit of elbow grease, but be careful not to...
Mine was a 1969 Mini 850. I bought it for £400 in 1976 when I passed my test. 3 months later the sub frame snapped & it cost me £480 to have it recovered & a new sub frame fitted.
They just don’t make them like that any more.
The oil in a petrol RCZ goes black very quickly after a service.
You must make sure you check the level once a week, more often if the car is in daily use. Don’t wait for the oil light to warn you it needs topping up. It’s too late if that happens. The Prince engine is very susceptible to damage...
Never redlined the revs 😱
It’s an RCZ !! The only time NOT to redline it is when approaching a police car from behind 🚓
Apparently, if you’re taking your driving test in your RCZ and the examiner asks “ why should you change down gears as you approach traffic lights?” The answer they’re...
Unfortunately if it’s the sensor, changing the oil will not solve your problem. Changing the oil (& filter) will do your engine the world of good though.
If you still have the low oil warning after the oil change, you will probably need the sensor replacing.
It doesn’t take long for the oil in the Petrol RCZ to get very black. It’s no indication as to whether it need changing or not. The oil warning light will not indicate when you need an oil change.
You need to change the oil at least when the car indicates a service is due, but some members...
It’s not the cheapest repair unfortunately. Probably round the £600 mark. I didn’t have to pay for mine doing as I had a Peugeout Platinum extended warranty at the time. I think the dealer charged the warranty people a lot more than that.
Maybe someone who has had theirs done & paid for it...
The dipstick is very reliable, but not always that easy to read, especially after an oil change.
The method I use & recommend is to remove dipstick, wipe clean, re insert, remove & hold horizontal. You should see where the oil “sags” which is a good indicator of the level.
It is worth noting...
