Sorry to hear that.
The cost of repairs ramp up very quickly. Someone will buy it from the salvage yard and get it back on the road.
What car are you going for next?
I hope the insurance company gave you a good settlement.
If you can get discs on and off within 10 minutes then you'd be a popular mechanic.
If they take that measurement as being acceptable I'd be surprised. Taking an accurate measurement off a flared lip on discs fit for the bin isn't the way to go about this job.
Half a mm is about 5x the...
Grow up.
I'm not going to spend my time stripping down my car, but I'm offering my services to check it properly.
I'll let you plod on and make a mess of it on your own.
I've got the tools for measuring it very accurately, and my discs are nearly new, but I'm too lazy to take one off. Sorry.
I'm sure there will be engineering drawings somewhere.
It should be for Godspeed to find this information. If they are going to manufacture them then they should be...
Your disc will have wear that will have to be accounted for. The discs might not have worn equally both sides to use half the reduced disc thickness as the calculation.
Using a standard Vernier caliper you'll still have the same issues with alignment affecting the accuracy of the measurement.
That's full Peugeot RRP. I think they were £630 prior to Brexit, I was £725 and the price went up again at Fish.
It would need to be a brand new set of discs to get an accurate measurement. The person measuring will also have to be accurate. If Godspeed are provided with the wrong measurements...
I misread that initially. I've thrown my old ones away.
It doesn't look like Fish Brothers are selling them now. They aren't on their website and the links from here are broken. Options are getting thinner.
It's not just RCZ prices that have gone up. It's the same for many cars in the current market.
Unless you're banking the money it's not really profit. The next car you buy will likely be more expensive than it was before too.
Fish Brothers, but they are £557 each.

Eshop Peugeot Czech Republic are much cheaper. A set of 4 with delivery is £942.
Their RRP is much lower than the UK. I'm not sure why there is such a difference...
You call me deluded, but you don't have a clue. Your naivety is staggering.
You honestly believe every car a main dealer sells is 100% genuine? You believe they carry out servicing and repairs to a high standard without fail?
All those main dealers do exactly what I've said.
Even brand new...
You do keep asking the same question, but keep throwing in condescending comments at the same time.
Nobody is taking about Dave under the arches doing a service for £50. The reputable Indys do such a good job they can command similar rates to main dealers. People don't choose them because they...
Why would that say more about me?
Why wouldn't an indy have access to consumables and parts? Anyone can buy genuine parts.
I think you've got too much unfounded confidence in main dealers.
Many of the main dealers are the worst. No need to protect their reputation as owners think they have to use them. Some of the best indy garages have become the best as they have worked very hard to earn a good reputation.
I could write a book about my experiences with BMW and Mercedes. They...
I've never used a main dealer for servicing I've been happy with.
My few dealings with the Peugeot dealer was enough to put me off even considering them for servicing.
I didn't think it looked right in the earlier photos. It still looks stained and marked.
That's the first car I've seen with the matte roof option. The gloss looks much better.
A dealer advertising the carbon roof.

That's a wrap and not a real carbon fibre roof.
