I have a compression tester, but it seems it's a bit more complicated because of the high pressures of the direct injection system, just hoping somebody has successfully carried it out and can give me advice, or point me at a workshop manual that definitely covers the R..
Does anyone know where I can obtain a workshop manual for an R?
I downloaded the RCZ Owner's Manuals in "other stuff" but it doesn't cover the R.
Is there instructions anywhere for carrying out a compression test on an R? I need the figures, and although I have done compression testing I read...
Cheers
They're closed today so I emailed them.
Have you heard of MKL Motors in Grays? They claim to be an RCZ specialist, but they list almost every manufacturer on their site.
They give you a 7 day trial with the car, the 250 mile limit is tight but I thought I'd try take it to a specialist if there's one in the S.E. London/Kent area, as a lot of the problematic items are excluded in the warranty as "works covered in the vehicle maintenance schedule".
I guess a...
Is that the white one? There is a 360 view of the interior.
Has anybody got the previous mileage? Maybe the white one was sold and returned.
The big question, is the white one worth buying? As it's in my price range and I'm fed up being carless, been looking at TTs!
Yes I would prefer a standard car, but if it was spot on otherwise I may consider it, but I'm in Kent so it's a bit of a distance, so f you get the chance to check it out I look forward to it.
Looks like the only one up now!
Just checked on a comparison site and the quote was nearly the same as the tt, strange as I always check on a comparison site at renewal and have never beaten the Flux price, they must have some problem with the RCZ!
I've hit an unexpected hurdle with insurance, my problem is I have another car in my garage at the moment so Adrian Flux want £1,700 for an R left on the road! I know it's high performance but that's over triple the price of a 220 BHP TT of the same value!
I'm thinking about the white one, although it is my least favourite colour, it looks so plain compared to the black, and it seems you can't even look the car over prior to purchase!
What are the tyres you mention? I must agree that isn't a good sign!
