It only works when you hold the car on the foot brake, if you put your handbrake on it does not operate as you should be holding the car with that.

You don't really need to change the disc or caliper to get a better pedal, get yourself some decent pads - Carbo Tech etc, up-grade your fluid to racing spec DOT 4 or 5.1 - stops it boiling, then you are good to go, for an even harder / better feeling pedal for track days, up-grade your flex...
I had all 4 alloys replaced, standard GT 19", due to corrosion - no problems with Peugeot replacing them, took some photo's and within a week they were replaced.
One of the factors not helping the situation was the very aggressive cleaner used by the dealer, I think they left it on for too...
Re: How many shades of Pearl White?
The reason why you have different colour panels is very simple, the main body is sprayed in Austria and your bumpers, side skirts and other plastic items are sprayed somewhere else, as long as they are in spec optically they will be fitted. No much you can...
If I remember correctly the indents under the lights are where the washer jets fit, so if you have not got them fitted then they are not cut out, I had the same deformation on mine and could be seen in certain lights - especially dark colours, it's all about the grade of plastic that is used -...
The only people who truely know what's going on is the plant where the cars are made, they have already confirmed the changes and also the up-grade to the RZC next year - it's seems that peoples memory's are short when it comes to these facts.
Also remember cars like the Asphalt are history to...
So lets see, you are supposed to have a RCZ and you say it's dull - what does that make you then. By doing what you did with this thread you can only expect the type of replies you have got. I'm wondering if you have an RCZ in the first place and really you are a TT driver :eusa-whistle: :o...
I don't think there's any advantage in running these plugs, you may as well run a decent set of coppers. I do run Greddy Iridium 8 sparkplugs in my MR2, mainly due to a custom map plus the plugs run cooler as well, so unless you are considering a different map then it's not really worth it. For...
My car was great until the dealer got hold of it, it went down bank from there. The only issue that concerned me (apart from all the problems I had with the dealer) was after I decided to sell the car, was the oil leak that developed in the PSA engine (not BMW).
The mirrors are a common problem...
I don't think the residuals are too bad, I got just under £18K agains the Countryman, which is the same value new as the 156GT and mine was a 156 GT with 13,000 on the clock. As I've said before, it's not about what you get for your car but the cost to change you have to take into consideration...
There's a bit of a debate going on about this on a couple of the Mini forums, certainly the Mini sales guys are convinced it's a BMW engine, so time will tell I think, but yes you are right it's a nice smooth engine, mid range is pretty good considering it's driving all 4 wheels.
Hey it's all good fun. ;)
Interestingly enough I've had several emails from the Group MD of the garage I brought the RCZ from, seems a decent chap, but as I've said it's water under the bridge now but he still wants to review where they went wrong - no problem with that. :thumbup...
Well just to close this off, I've now had my new car for just over a week, in the end went for a Mini Countryman Cooper D All4 - long name for what should be a small car, which it certainly is not. Not everyones cup of tea but it ticks all the right boxes for what I need including a decent...
Hey guys I've been there and got the tee shirt, never regret owning owning an RCZ, but needed to be more practical as circumstances changed over the last 12 months.
I will say though after putting some goodies on the Mini, Peugeot really need to up their game, I'm not talking about looks or...
That was the base model before the design was finally agreed on, don't you just love the modern design lines thay have stuck with since they started the project, although the room in the back has decreased a little. :wtf:
I suppose the ultimate question is -...
I do think Peugeot should come clean on this, they sell you on the 20,000 miles then drop the "oh by the way you might want to consider an interim" after you have brought the car.
You do really need to have an oil change even if you don't do the miles as the oil is still taking a battering due...
All black including the wheels - my normal choice to be honest, it's got a lot of room in it which is one of the reasons I went for it plus the 4 wheel drive. It's never going to replace the RCZ for looks but it's a fair compromise taking all things into consideration.
Sorry didn't see this, I've changed to a Mini Countryman All4 Cooper Diesel, gone for the practical side plus economy with the added bonus of 4 wheel drive. Drives well - looks different :eusa-think: , get's some funny looks  - hey but I'm use to that  , it does 57 mpg to and from...
