I fitted the rear facing dashcam high up on the rear windscreen (tucked the wiring under the headling) It works fine and no wires visible.
I also have fitted a reversing camera near the boot switch. That did need the bumper to come off, That was a fiddly job, not one I would want to do again.

Service box does not show any breakdown of the mirror itself.....
I suspect you will just have to give it a go and be prepared to buy a new one if it breaks.
Thanks for the info.
The Battery was quite new (less than 6 months at the time). There does not seem to be any consistency to it. Sometimes the "Economy Mode" message does not appear at startup, other times it does. Does not seem to matter whether the car has been standing a few days or not...

For anyone that does fancy it, This is the Peugeot way.
By the look of it - these instructions are for a LHD, so for us that drive on the proper side it might need some further investigation.

Are you certain that the fault is with the Heater Matrix. There have been a few threads recently about water in the footwell.
If your Heater Matrix is leaking the liquid in the footwell will smell of anti-freeze, you will be topping up the cooling system frequently etc.
Have a look at the...
The footwell being the lowest point would be the obvious place for water to collect.
There was a lot of discussion on the 406 Coupe forum as a lot of owners were having the problem, Maybe its something common to Peugeots.
Check that the vents are not blocked with leaves and crud - there are...
