    New Battery!!

Probably worth the extra £65 if they fitted it for you since you have to remove half of the engine to do so!

Peugeot RCZ R Smart LCD Touchscreen Display Key Upgrade / Modification

Thanks! It wasn't too difficult to do actually. You can get the LCD key fobs from eBay/Amazon/Ali-Express/Etc. but you also need an original spare car key so that you can use the internal circuit board from that. And you need somebody with Jedi level micro-soldering skills as the wires are very...

    Key coding

If it's the original fob and the battery has just been changed there is a manual procedure to re-coded it to the car - it's in the manual somewhere. I've done it before, something along the lines of turning the ignition and holding down buttons on the fob for XX seconds. Have a look in the...

    Paint work

Squinting at it from 200 yards away across a wet and windy ASDA carpark... yeah, looks OK! :D

Our much loved RCZ HDI GT

Jesus! Glad she's OK. At the end of the day, cars can be replaced, but people can't.

    AP200

Get a torch and a pokey thing and, if you can see dropped plug, you can flick it to one side. Then you should be able to pull the centre console enough for it to drop out onto the footwell. I did the same thing ages ago - it is a stupid place to put a hole!

    Badge Removal

Yes, yours is the MKI. The MKII 'Facelift' model came in 2013.

    Quad exhausts

Quads look great but you'll either need a new rear with a hole on the right for them or you'll have to hacksaw one out of your own...

RCZ side lights on when car is off help

Hi and welcome to the forum! You could try a BSI reset and see if that resolves the issue first as it has been known to fix a multitude of errors... Here is the correct procedure: - Put the driver's window down, lift the bonnet & ensure all equipment is switched off. - Ensure all doors are...

    Fob battery replacement

If you've put a new battery in the keyfob, the owner's manual tells you you should reinitialise it afterwards: REMOTE CONTROL PROBLEM Following disconnection of the vehicle battery, replacement of the remote control battery or in the event of a remote control malfunction, you can no longer...

    Key fob stopped working?

If you've put a new battery in you need to reinitialise the keyfob. It tells you how to do it in the owner's manual but here is for convenience. Give that a go first. 👍 REMOTE CONTROL PROBLEM Following disconnection of the vehicle battery, replacement of the remote control battery or in the...

    Chewed Seat belts

To be fair I would imagine most rear seat belts in an RCZ are in 'as new' condition! :D

    Rust on the wheel/brake disc

Whip the wheel off and paint it black with some Hammerite or similar - good as new!

    Badge removed

I think the badges on the MK II facelift RCZ's are stuck on but the MK I ones are bolted on.

    vision pack

Thanks. I had somebody put it on for me as didn't fancy doing it myself but no issues at all with any MOT's afterwards and didn't change the bulbs either. But the option of swapping in brighter bulbs is there if you feel like you want to I guess.

    vision pack

Check out Spi-Vision or Fly-Eye film online (try YouTube). It's vinyl with holes in it so it still lets the light through but looks black from a distance. Here's mine finished and mid-way through application a few years ago so you can see the difference. 👍

    Help New RCZ owner

The spanner just means it's overdue for a service but you can turn that off yourself if I recall correctly by holding down the button next to it on the dash for 10 seconds while turning key to first place on ignition (it tells you exactly in the owners manual). Not sure about the warning...

    Stock seats with diamond pattern?

That's not an RCZ R seat by the way....
