It can be done without removing the bumper and slam panel but it is so much easier to do with them removed.

You’ll have the updated/improved tensioner in a 2015 model so I don’t think changing just the tensioner will be beneficial or preventative. If anything if you want to do preventative maintenance, do the chain, plastic guides and tensioner but with your mileage I don’t think you need to.

Did all derivatives of the RCZ have power folding door mirrors? I had a floppy door mirror and got one off eBay but replacement only had one plug where as the original has a second plug which I’m assuming is for the folding.

My 156 has front and rear sensors as well as leather interior so not sure that’s a giveaway. Engine cover is different though but plenty of aftermarket options out there

A pic of the engine bay will be a dead giveaway so if you post a pic it can be confirmed. The intercooler pipes run differently

My 156 has started doing this ever so slightly. It’ll be the valve stem seals which need doing.

There are two pumps if you have headlight washers.

Is there any difference in the way it runs if you unplug the VVT lift motor?

Have you tried to wind the VVT lift screw all the way in either direction? I think it’s a 4mm Allen key on the back.

Maybe silly, but did you plug the electrical connector back into the hpfp when you refitted it?
