Shame that, we run a RCZ diesel as a daily, never missed a beat, but the days are numbered on these as they don’t meet or pass the CAZ, we live in Lancashire but drive into Greater Manchester, so when that kicks in sadly not prepared to pay the cost. Think the diesel in the RCZ is a peach...
Yes the wrap didn't look good, and yes you need to see these cars in person, unfortunately it can be costly with the travel but for the right car its obviously worth it.
As people will know from my last thread I missed a few things on mine because I was more sold on the history and Warranty...
The red one needed so much work doing I wasn't even able to make an offer on it, guy was trying to convince me I was mad not making an offer, I don't believe a dealer would offer what he was saying there simply would be nothing in it, one of the biggest problems along with the rust on the lower...
Yes bought mine from Switzerland, yes agree about the refurbish, was meaning they get to the point where they can't be diamond cut anymore. I think the wheels look fantastic as factory and would never consider a change also the detail with the R emblem to me is pure class.
Yes seems obvious with the brakes on all of Rs that come up, I am just in the process of a complete brake refresh which I knew would need doing before I purchased, I was also aware of the cost involved, another thing is the wheels, they can't always be refurbished am sure people are aware of...
Yes I have been watching, there seems to be a big gap in the market at the moment price wise, but as previously stated to get the best price I think these cars need to be mint and well looked after.
Think 2 have sold recently the white and the red one, no idea for how much though.
Fair play, maybe I am a little anxious given I have only just purchased one I am keen to maintain the value if possible given its not a daily, the current one at £22k on autotrader has been there a long time, it looks mint but maybe overpriced am not sure.
I would never expect to get the...
Afternoon all, interested on people's opinions of how much the Rs are worth at this moment, they seem to have crashed all of a sudden looking at prices across the web?
Yes agree with the comments with the R, it certainly is a bespoke set up, but the suspension set up in my opinion will not suit all especially if its a daily, you really need to try both.
For me the R is simply superb as a driver's car in all departments, and I came from something twice the BHP...
Looks good on top, really surprised no engine bay pictures, or more detailed pictures of the interior, for me it has a good MOT history, so surprised as you say the plate is blocked out.
I do like these in white, our HDI GT is white with black wheels, looks soo good.
The wheel arch wasn't missing it was broken on the bottom where it bolts to the undertray that protects the ancillary belt that drives the water pump etc, yes wheel arch prices are stupid, but I have only one way of doing things so had to be new, I have just finished of the repairs last night...
Can I also add, I had viewed a few previous to buying mine, all from auto trader, in comparison first impressions drew me to my current car, it was like a breath of fresh air compared to the others and I bought on the strength of the full history and extended Peugeot warranty.
I don't think...
Yes, warranty is transferred to me, so not started with the calipers yet with Peugeot, I will need to sort the disc first as obviously they won't be covered, my plan is to do a complete brake refresh.
I have only just finished repairing the plastic under carriage,, luckily the car is not a...
I bought an R private in October, we already had a GT HDI so I thought I knew these cars, the car came with full Peugeot history, and extended Peugeot warranty, no MOT failure on the list, just one advisory for a tyre 2 years ago, all servicing and MOTs done by Robin and day.
I paid £16000 with...
Hi everyone, I have just purchased a Rcz R, so far I am reasonably happy, it won't be a daily so it's currently in the garage.
I have started to go over the car and have noticed there is some damage to the undertray on the driver's side where the pulley is, I have a broken section next to the...
