RCZ R - sell or store?

Person who bought it is on FB, it has just passed its MOT first time and he is loving the car. Looks a really well looked after car.

    Not for Boys

In gear acceleration/ performance definitely due to the gear ratios, this is where the R excels once on the move, also being front wheel drive coupled with LSD it corners better than a rear wheel drive. Peugeot sport really did know what they were doing!

    Not for Boys

Interesting points, would definitely agree with the experience and attention to get the best out of it, but am thinking more about the R with that point. We had a GT HDi last year, I really enjoyed driving that, loved the torque of that engine, just needed an LSD in my opinion to make it...

Make sure you check both sides.

    Front wheel jumping

Okay, decent tyre so you have covered the obvious, can’t see how you could miss a broken spring, but check again also check the top strut bearing, I think your missing something obvious.

    RCZ R for sale

Not the best place to sell by the way (on here I mean) you won’t get the asking Price. your in box will be filling with low offers and sob stories about wanting to own one. Collector’s are looking at these cars now, choose a different platform to sell, provenance and history is key to selling...

    RCZ R for sale

Stunning car, price is a little cheap in my opinion, the peugeot warranty will support and help the sale. Plus a one owner car. Good ones are now getting hard to find, yours looks one of them, someone is going to get a good car. Stick to your guns on price and be patient, hopefully you don’t...

    PUG1OFF Light Weight Flywheel

This is why I didn’t do on my last car, I thought about this for a long time, but the benefits for me just don’t make sense, especially with something like an R. you definitely need that inertia when changing down not a braking effect in my opinion. A light weight fly for me is only a benefit...

    TPMS - again!

An R just makes no sense for a daily, it’s to high maintenance and highly tuned, it’s a shame you couldn’t keep it for a second car given your spend. Parts are unbelievably expensive and availability is something I have never experienced before with any car. This in my view will prevent future...

Could you just not get the old one reconditioning?

    RCZ R prices

Looks good for a refurb, if they are all the same, it’s not cheap to have them done properly so it might be better to leave them and make an allowance in the asking price. The missing service sounds better as you previously stated, so that will make it more attractive for a sale. The other...

    RCZ R prices

Reference the wheels, it depends on how much of the R motif is left on the wheel, as this is reduced when they are restored to a diamond cut finish which is factory, they are often powder coated because there isn’t enough left for a diamond cut finish. As Kerr says they could take a heavy hit...

    RCZ R prices

You are not going to get good money given the service and MOT history, the headlights also could be a real problem, wheels are not factory finish that is also a problem for an enthusiast. The mileage is low, but to a serious buyer the missing service history would be a big problem. I would...

Query ref parking up for winter

That’s correct negative at the front right of engine bay, help’s also if you put a dehumidifier in the garage, I always maintain humidity below 65%, that will keep things tip top.

    Rcz R sale

Good ones very hard to find now, so the R will begin to steady price wise, each will be sold on merit, collectors and enthusiast are starting to take notice, the budget ones are selling quickly for people who want a daily, but need big spends with the odd exception.
