Have you tried laying the seat totally flat out first then trying to lock it in position?

There’s probably one of the best R’s in the country up for sale a mate of mine’s who’s advertised it on the Facebook owners group, he wants 22K for it but it is mint with only 12K miles in the clock.

Commonly 15mm spacer on front 20mm on rear works well but I’ve seen 30mm on rears with no problems

I’m lucky as I have an independent Peugeot specialist just down the road from me and he’s conversant with the RCZ as many of his customers are owners but we’re in west/North Yorkshire a bit too far for you I would have thought.

Did you see the video a member posted recently regarding faulty aftermarket rocker covers where the PCV valve system had been manufactured wrongly? car wouldn’t run right replacement was the same.

Not heard that I’m sure if they’re bright enough there won’t be a problem on the MOT mine had passed no problems at all and I also have LED number plate lights 👍
