Ok so it's just out to order, so chances of anyone actually having driven one are slim but I have to say I'm a wee bit disappointed with the look of the thing. The interior looks great but the external refresh isn't much of an update in my opinion. Especially if that's it for another 7 years. It...
Re: Golf R
Had a few Audi's before my current car, which is my first ever BMW and I'm sorry to say that I doubt I'll go back to an Audi unless it's and old runabout. They don't call it the Ultimate Driving Machine for nothing...
Never had a Merc though who be interested in seeing what they're...
Re: Golf R
They look almost identical is you ask me, except the Audi one is "busier". The Audi one is the nicer but there's not much in it, but you said "any car in the BMW range"...
And how about this from Merc? Audi is no longer the king of the interiors that it used to be. It's stilll...
Re: Golf R
I beg to differ. The A3/S3 interior is alright and better than the Golf in my opinion but it's the least appealing of all the Audi's bar the A1. A4/A5 A6/A7/A8 is far better and I doubt you've seen much of the new BMW's. M3/M4 and M5/M6 have caught up with Audi in a big way. I would...
Re: Golf R
Well, that's a very good question. Currently torn between two/three options...

Option 2 - Lease something quick but not...

Yes me too. 17.2mpg is the best I get and has been sitting at that for the last year. Looking forward to something less thirsty when I change next August.
Re: Golf R
Don't understand the direction that VW is going in in terms of exterior styling. The previous model was much more differentiated from the GTi but now they look very similar and FAR too tame in my personal opinion.
Stop being such a delicate wee flower Wrapper. As I've said before you're happy to dish it out so you need to be happy enough to take it back.
And please stop wasting my time reporting posts for content that you don't like. That's not what the function is for.

It's a grey area. Whether factory fitted or not, current MOT legislation states that self-levelling and washer systems on HID quipped cars must work correctly WHERE FITTED. Which means that if they are not fitted then they aren't subject to the test.
So Shoey's car may in fact sail through an...
Hardly an attack. You're a big boy and seem to give as good as you get. Please don't go running to Mummy every time someone bites you back.
I suggest you follow Abz's advice.
