How do you know it doesn't work? You can't see it deploy to stage 1 through the rear view mirror...

Incidentally, the reason they don't stay on auto after you switch off the car is in case it's left over night for example and the wipers are frozen to the windscreen the following morning. If the frozen wipers were on auto as soon as you switched on the engine it wouldn't be good for them...

The auto lights are great but the auto wipers are a bit hit and miss as they seem to randomly decide to go on the top speed setting sometimes when intermittent would do...

What's the point though? The standard brakes are supreme already. I guess it would only be for cars with extra tuning/bhp?

I've definitely had a few hand signals from other drivers over the years - usually as I leave them in my rear view mirror! 😎 I've stopped flashing at people though because of the restraining order... :rolleyes:

Looks like water has got under the laquer on them. Best thing you can do now is have them refurbed but you'll probably need them off the car and the tyres off for that so bit of a pain...

Apparently it can as somebody has done it but it involves splitting the sealed unit and glueing it back together again afterwards. It doesn't really bug me that much though so I didn't bother.

Yeah, if they were interchangeable or could be turned upside down that would be great but each one only fits one side, one way unfortunately...

Yep, I have those and they're awesome but the lights sweep the wong way (towards front of car). Still cool though. 👍
