I think the only one I watched showed the various grades of paper and ended with some form of polish. I wasn’t really paying attention tbh, but the results did look impressive, if the video was real.

I think I read quite a few years ago that someone had done just that, but the thread is probably lost now, it was maybe 5 or 6 years ago.
I seem to remember it was more than just a simple task.
If you have a look on YouTube you will see there are various informative videos showing how to do it with different grades of wet & dry sandpaper & soapy water.
I gather it just takes some perseverance & elbow grease.
front strut top mounts were replaced foc on a notice from Peugeot on mine, but that was some years ago. Don’t know if the notice is still in effect, but maybe worth a call to your local Peugeot dealer to ask?
