I was fearful but I do like the look

I like this too and in fact I think you should keep it like this.
Making the arches black makes it too black for my liking and the bright arches make it instantly recognizable as an RCZ.

Good call on the rims , - go for carbon wrap on the roof and arches!!

Black roof over red - like this.

LOVE the Alfa, one of my all time favorite cars. Pictures never do it justice but what a BEAST in the flesh!

And yes, black roof and arches would look superb and being wrapped it's reversible for a change later.

Normally i wouldn't, but in this particular case i would say wrap the arches black too. It would suit well with the rims, grille and roof being black. Silver is a bit out of place on this car.

Nothing wrong with it as it's now either nautrally but still. :)

Bruno, Paris, France :

I took that picture of my RCZ near Paris ;)

2.0 HDI, Mercury Grey, Champagne roof arches, integral white leather, WIP COM3D, JBL HiFi Pack, Xenon.

Few months ago, I changed my 19' Sortilège for the 19' Solstice Anthra Grey (here on the Atlantic french coast) :
