I worked for a company where we all called each other Billy. I still do that sometimes. Came about when a new guy started. An old timer said to him "so what do they call you son?" the new guy replied "Luis Rodriguez" with a strong Italian accent. The old timer simply replied "Billy.. that'll do" and from thence forth he became Billy and everybody else followed suit over time.

Hello - I was hoping to get to this meet up, but alas I won't be able to make this one as we'll be in Wales.... Really looking forward to seeing the photos though and I'll create an album on Facebook if that's ok with everyone. Have fun and I hope the sun shines

I was up there a couple of weeks back and I would say snow shoes and gloves.

It was actually snowing when we came out after dinner and bitter cold, went 10 miles down the road and it was lovely

Its a place with a micro climate be prepared for anything up there

Worse than Leeming? that place has a crazy micro climate. Drive to Bedale and it's different weather!
Due to the nice sized boot we all have I pack a larging golfing brolly everywhere, and my spare wheel space has boots and a 'softy' jacket in it.
