Word on The Street Publics Reaction to RCZ ???

I think when the Z first hit the UK streets it did all that you mention.
But now as it becomes more popular, I find it still draws some attention, but not like it used to.

Some of the comments on your link are funny, interesting and many have been said before, especially the ones that say the Z is just a prettier TT.

However, I wouldn't read too much though into what the Yanks say to be honest
Remember when they said we should all go digging up the desert to look for WMD, (big bombs to you and me). :?
Now that was something to write about :eusa-whistle:

I think most people by me are all miserable. None of my neighbours have said anything, and my dad is fed up with pics of it on facebook

if no friends or neighbour mentions it, then you can be sure there's a hint of envy running through their veins..

When i had my 406 before, i had a few guys at work constantly bashing Peugeot and/or my particular car. Now after i've bought the RCZ there has only been the odd comment here and there.

I'm suspecting the same :D

The Z still gets comments. Every time I go to the tip (I'm going quite a lot at the moment), someone asks me about the car. A lot of comments are about the colour. People seem to really like it. Or on occasions when I've been out for lunch, I've had nice comments from people saying how they like the RCZ. The RCZ still does catch people's attention

The tip  surely the O/H's Disco is better suited to this kind of excursion?

...or is the trip to the tip for one small bag of rubbish and a big bag of compliments???

"It's kind of like a TT, but much nicer looking" is what my Mrs' heard a passer by saying when we were stuck in traffic at the weekend. It was hot weather, the Z was gleaming and 'popping' in the sun so the comments were to be expected...

Yes the OH's Disco would be better suited but unfortunately he's not there to do it. I'm busy trying to keep Mum's garden in order which is why there are frequent trips to the tip. The Zs boot is just the right size for taking 2 huge bags of garden waste to the tip.
The guys at the tip are very friendly and won't allow me to take the bags out of the car and empty them. They insist on doing it

I get lots of attention here in Ireland. Mostly cause people haven't got a clue what make I car it is! I have had my picture taken in motorways. Mostly good comments though!

Went to southport last week for a day with the wife. When we pulled up in the car park on the front there was a school trip. As we got out about a dozen of the lads shouted over. Love your car Mr. That's well smart.

I was out with my Mum today, in her 508. I had parked outside her house and as we arrived home turning into her road she said 'Sorry to say but I really don't like your new car, loved your first one but this one is just too black'.

I have had many favourable comments from my mates though.

However, my sister says the same about mine. She prefers the white Z to Ruby.... some people eh?! ;)

LOL yes Mum's great aren't they :D

This is the lady that drives a Black 508 at the moment. Previously bought a brand new 408 in a very nice silver and within 3 months traded it in for a Black one. But fair credit to her she's in the 70's, only 5 foot 3 inch tall and still quiet happily drives around in her 508 which is a sizable car doing around 18,000 miles per annum

I was sat outside a chippy this evening. Pearl2 was placed next to a 4.2L Jaguar XK Coupe thinking that I'm not likely to get any door dings from that  anyways I was so interested to watch a group of 2 men & 2 women fawn all over my car for ages discussing it looking all around it, but didn't even glance at the Jag, which would have been twice the price of my Pug

Good to know that I'm not the only one who prefers to park next to new/expensive cars

My mum thinks the car ia a bit too flashy! She has just bought a navy blue convertible mini with white leather seats with navy beadings (too flashy????)

My mum is 81 and would claim to be 5foot 2 but I am only just over 5ft and I definately now look down to talk to her but in her favour, she did play 18 holes of golf today on foot and then had 7(yes 7) glasses of wine with dinner!
