wiper and light control changed...

Hi; first of all sorry for my english...I'm from Italy.

I changed my light&wiper control, but after the change "esp malfunction" appeared on my dashboard... can anyone tell me why, and if there is a solution ? All the contacts are correctly plugged in...

Hold the control button down for 5 secs then release if it does not reset then it may be the ECU is detecting there is something wrong with the Systems programme ?
