since it was a nice day, spent a good few hours sealing the wheels and paintwork. Car was covered in tar already, all gone now though. Hopefully that'll see it through the winter months....

shiney as glass. Please come and do mine now

I was surprised at how little time it took! Two and a half hours to snowfoam, wash, tar removal, wash again, dry, gloss, seal the wheels, clean the glass, hoover. I guess the more you do it, the less time it takes. My 5 year old 207 used to take me about 5 hours!!

My OH commented on how well the lines stood out now I'd sealed the paint. I was pleased with it too. The sealant I used was the Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection (I think that's right!)

Still need to use the GTechniq stuff on the glass, but finding a nice day that isn't sunny isn't easy at this time of year. But there's no real heat in the sun anymore, so maybe I could do it........

Donna, how on earth did you do all that in 2.5 hours it's beyond me. Just a general wash every week takes me 2-3 hours.

You will be okay applying the Gtechniq G1 on the glass on a sunny day, there's no real heat in the sun anymore and its low in the sky so go on, get it on !
