Window Reset

I'm sure I've seen this before. Is there a way of resetting the windows on the car? My passenger window is fine, but the drivers side does the drop on opening the door, but it doesn't go back up when you shut the door. Just trying to work out if there's an issue or it just needs a reset.

Could be a sensor issue but first try resetting windows limits. With ignition on, hold the switch for window down until it reaches the bottom and hold for 10 seconds. Then hold switch up until it closes fully, and continue holding for another 10 seconds. That will reset the windows limits and may fix this issue, but you won't know unless you try it lol

Brilliant, thanks for that mate. I knew I'd done this on my wifes 2008 but couldn't remember what I did, so I'll give it a go on the RCZ and see what happens.

Do you know if there's a reset for the mirrors too. I had to take the passenger side one off because it was damaged, and it was working before I removed it. Now I've patched it up it doesn't do anything. I might actually try taking it off and running it on the drivers side and see if it does anything then.

Usually if there is a disconnection somewhere it won't work, I'd check your connections.

Got that bit working, still more issues to solve. This is a great forum. I have to say these cars can be very frustrating, but I'm getting there slowly.

Did you fix this issue as I have the same issue on opening and shutting the door , it doesn’t drop or rise

It's the window regulator that has gone of the window doesn't drop when opened and doesn't go up when closed...
