Window lowers completely by itself when opening the door.

My driver's window (left side) lowers all the way with rapid jerks when I open the door.
Even when it's all the way down, the jerks can still be heard.

When I close the door, it stops, and I can only raise it slowly because it also jerks and only works in the first position of the switch.

If I want to leave the window closed, I have to exit through the other door.

I took it to the garage, let's see what they say. I'll explain the result.

Try this. Sit in the car and put the window all the way up. Turn off the ignition. Hold the window switch in the up position and turn the ignition to the first setting. Hold for around 10 seconds. That should recalibrate the electric window. You can do the same with the down position and the other window too if you need to of course.

Thanks but I already tried calibrating it, but it was impossible because it barely worked.

The garage is waiting for a new motor to arrive; they say the old one is broken. The part costs €417.

It seems that it can still be easily obtained since the Peugeot 508 uses the same motor.

Hopefully, this will fix it.

I was wrong, the window motor is exclusive to the RCZ. I ended up getting a new one on eBay, an original part made in 2024!

It's finally fixed and working properly :)
