Hi girls and guys ! Just a quick question/query ? Our RCZ ( owned 4 months now ) has the standard 19 x 8 1/2 wheels , and good and grippy 245/40 Bridgestones . Every one of my cars seems to get aftermarket wheels , and while the factory ones are pleasant enough , I always want to go bigger , wider and I like to 'improve' on factory style ( in my eyes ) . Looking under the guards , there isn't all that much spare space there before things start rubbing , especially if any aftermarket wheels have much of a 'dish' to them . So just seeing from the brains trust here what the largest suggected wheels you can realistically fit ?

A friend of a friend has a set of very expensive European 3 piece 20's ( like over $NZ10,000 new -- thats over 4000 Pounds ! ) that he had on his Ferrari ( yes , 5 x 108 stud pattern ) , the fronts are 10" wide with 265/30 P Zeros , while the rear wheels are 20 x 12 with 295/25 . Would look cool BUT way too wide and would foul the guards both ends I suspect . Having said that , 5 x 108 wheels aren't super common here , he's having trouble selling them , he'll take $NZ2000 ( 800 pound ) with near new tyres , after initially wanting twice that 6 months ago . I'm tempted to buy them and store them , as future plans do call for doing larger DTM style guards / flares , to accentuate the RCZ's rear in particular .

What about 20 x 9's ? I thought about 265/35 tyres , but looking at clearances , and on-line tyre size comparators , I suspect they may be too large a diameter , might have to go with 265/30 tyres ? Anyone with first hand experience ? And yes , I do realise that the dish ( ET ) will affect things , but trying to work out what definitely won't work before trying to see what will possibly work . Cheers
