You'll need to replace the "Elbow" Tank on yours which houses the Thermostat sender but you need to order the exact part as I have the same model & it took them 2 attempts before they sent me the correct 1 as I didn't realise there can be different variants I got mine off ebay but you need the part no which are listed in numerous parts stores across the web as I can't remember offhand what it was sorry mate

Cheers for reply......From what I’ve read I might have to Change the wiring as well as apparently they been upgraded with different plug for the sensor

I really do want go down main dealer route but there’s a Peugeot dealer just down the road from so if wrong part is ordered it’s easier to exchange......unlike parts off eBay etc

The 200GT is a straight swop over as the plug fits into the rear of the housing housing I believe the 156 & maybe the HDI had the wiring upgrade I think the put they sensor in the housing instead of having a bleed screw
Its not rocket science to change the housing it gets a bit fiddly around the back coupling the elbow into the coolant pipe but many on here have done it with success & saved money!

Halfway through tackling this job just a quick pointer for any of you guys doing this job there seems to be a number of different thermo for Rcz if you have a mk2 200THP then look at the photos that’s the thermostat you’ll need with round connection type on the one side unlike majority of others with 2 think they are the newer version..
Part no-FTK486 1336cc....Lucky for me I have a good friend who’s tackling the job......I hate stress!!

Mines on a 13 plate but still do your own checks.
