You can't go wrong by following the advice of RCZ1! I have our detailing Queen's guide printed, laminated and in a folder with my products for easy reference. Oh and great choice of snow foam. I tried it after RCZ1's recommendation and it's definitely been one of the best that I've tried.

Is it the Valet Pro ph Neutral snow foam?

I only ask because Valet Pro have bought out a new one, Advanced ph Neutral snow foam, which is an astonishing cleaner. The best I've ever tried.

Thanks Mr Rizz for your kind comments. Glad the detailing guide was of use. It could do with a bit of an update too.

It remains my go to for advice RCZ1. Be interested to hear what new product you've been using. Have you any intention of trying C2v3? Looks great and be interested to try it but I do get a lot if pleasure from waxing my car...particularly with some SN mitts and my new Bouncer waxes. Hmmmm...

Mr Rizz, I got a free sample of C2v3 from Gtechniq and it really is the bees knees. For £6, it's astonishing value for money and will give durability of up to 8 months. It adds a really glossy finish and also beads water, a lot like a wax. But it's sheeting properties are excellent. Water just runs off it.

I have just purchased a K4 eco from B&Q for £199, all accessories including the t Racer for patios etc which you can sell on for around £40 if not required , i liked the wide up hose wheel which makes it easier for tidying up.
Couldnt find cheaper than this?

Yes it's the Ph Neutral, I saw the other one but its nearly twice the price! I've been using www.cleanyourcar.co.uk as I can get everything in one place! Are there any other sites people can recommend?

Clean Your Car are THE best IMO. They usually have everything you need and delivery and customer service is second to none. They also tend to be cheaper than most too.

Polished Bliss, Monza Car Care and Elite Car Care are also good, if you want to use others.

It may be twice the price but it's for a reason. Come winter when your car is getting serious crud and mud on it, then believe me, the Advanced cleans like no other :)

Love CYC and a decent loyalty scheme but it's worth noting that Polished Bliss will price match and give you free delivery. Their biggest shortcoming is their lack of product range IMO. I haven't used Monza Car Care but can say good things about Elite Car Care too. Cheeky discounts available there too if you have a look on tinternetsuperhighway.web.

Monza are good too, I can vouch for them. They are prepared to go the extra mile if you have a problem with their stuff.

Flying visit to Nottingham today/tomorrow for a funeral. Anyhow, my Dad said he had a spare pressure washer for me! He opened up the shed and there was this blue Nilfisk and I though jackpot! No thats my new one he said, the old one is a Performance Power (p&p) 1300. Quite old as you can tell.

Anyhow, really fancy trying to get some snow foam use out of it. Are all the snow foam lances specific to each manufacturer as having had a look around it could be difficult to get one which fits...

They are all specific as different pressure washers have different connections. But you might be able to find one that fits :)

Might be worth ringing Clean Your Car for advice.

How much pressure /flow rate has the pressure washer - its just it might not have enough to generate a thick snow foam?

This might be the one. Photos of actual lance and potential adapter (nilfisk/halfords)?

1400 psi (100 bar).

Might not be worth the bother to be honest...

same fitment as mine :) Mines a 1300 so it doesnt make the foam really thick, but it still works great :)

So do you think that bottle with the nilfisk adapter would work? Can't see how it's all going to fit together to be honest, even with the right bottle..

What does the black stumpy end slot into?

Yeah it looks right. The bottle goes on the trigger instead of the bit you pictured. Then you just need to set it up to how you want it :)
