hi all,
you will be pleased to know that our cars are as rare as rocking horse s**t, just been to France and Switzerland and covered 2,500 miles. Only spotted two rczs on the roads, one near Rennes ( a black one and it was a british one)
one near Laon red one with French plates.
So we are an elite bunch.
cheers nasty

It seems that in the UK people tend to more often follow their heart when buying a car whereas on the continent people prefer more practical cars :sleeping-yellow:
That also explains why the UK has the highest percentage of convertible cars, which is definitely not explained by your weather...
At the moment, car sales in the Netherlands are back to the level of 1969 so sales of fun cars like the RCZ will be next to nil.

So true, we also used to love sun roofs... We're nothing if not optimistic!

I've only seen 7 or 8 other RCZ's besides my own while out driving or at various car dealerships here in Finland. And there's more or less always hovering between 25-30 RCZ's for sale in the entire country (Right now it's 27).

Still, i think that's quite a lot of being here  For instance i've only seen maybe one or two GT86's on the road in all of their lifetime.

...I saw a couple in the South of France this holiday - I usually drive from Calais to Albi (about 10 hours) and didn't see one at all during the journey!! :)

"Where Are All The RCZ's"
Swansea by the looks of things

When we first had ours from new I can pretty much say it was one of the first or even the first to be seen on the roads of Swansea, maybe Gorwell, who lives not for away was another owner who was there at around the same time.

When out driving along people would stop, stare, wave and point, you could read their lips as they would be saying "wow look at that", "what is it", both my wife and myself used to find it all a bit embarrassing, yet very proud to be driving such a stunning car.

I clearly remember one time when we pulled into a very very busy Tesco car park on our way back from Cardiff, locked the car up and walked into the store where we were stopped by a very excited gentleman who asked what car we had just pulled up in, he had seen us drive into the car park and waited for us inside the store to find out about the car, he was amazed when I said it was a Peugeot and had been on the roads for a month or two.
Incidents like this happened often in the early days.

Now though 3 years on, it seems as though Z's are everywhere, especially around the Swansea area.
A 5 minute drive will almost certainly have you seeing at least 2 or 3 on the roads, I know for another 2 sitting on drives within walking distance of my house, and another 2 again parked up outside houses not too far away .
The first year after production they were a bit of a rare sight on our roads, but the last 2 years seems to have been a breeding ground for Z's in Swansea and surrounding areas.
The days of the "stop & stare" have long gone, and I think perhaps it's only other Z owners who give the Z a long admiring second glance these days.

Strange thing is though, if you are looking for a used private one in this area to buy, they can be hard to find, and even in local garages or somewhere like Autotrader, you will only find the odd one or two popping up on the forecourt.
