I have used Mother's Mag and Aluminium Polish on mine in the past, before having them wrapped. A bit abrasive but the results were fantastic. It's a polish I used in the states on all my show cars.

:helpme:

On reading ALOT about decontamination of paint work and alloys, would I be right if I used this method...

Extensive wash and hand dry by my Turkish friends at the hand car wash.
Bilt hamper soft clay all over including alloys. (Have read its a decontamination product)
Diamondbright stage 1 & 2. Bought off eBay.
Poorboys wheel sealant.
Dodo juice lime prime for arches.
:eusa-think:
If not, why not and some recommendations on how I can do this without paying £250 for someone else to do it ?
My diamond black brake discs and pads will be ordered all the more sooner !!!
I know there's other posts on this but so much information that it's got me confused on the best options
Thanks in advance for info. I value your knowledge and experience.

Wouldn't waste my time with poorboys wheel sealant u'll be reapplying ever other week won't last any longer than a fortnight I'm afraid. If U've nothing else just put car wax on them it'll last longer.

Ok. What's diamondbright then ? Thought it was of some sort.
Polish applied after clay then ?
Want to really do this myself.

Since the Diamond bright applied by the dealer, I haven't used anything other than the DB shampoo & DB conserver (conserver @ once a month or so) my understanding is you don't need any polish over the stage 2 Diamond Bright. It certainly doesn't look like you do, always comes up very shiny & washes off even just with water. :eusa-think:
