There is many a married man on this forum you dont have to be single to have a rcz........ rant all you want that's what a forum for and yes by all means get the car detailed I would buy all the gear to snowfoam and spolish and wax the car flat or no flat.

My cars paint on delivery was excellent apart from a mark on the roof caused by the protective cover being taken off baldly and the only paints that show swirls are dark paints and reds all others don't unless you have a bionic eye.your money as you implied

I thought a forum was to talk with like minded people, gain info and help eachother out, not to p**s on their bonfire. If you even looked at my avatar then you'll see my Z is red and again is a SECOND hand motor.Come on then smart alec, How would you suggest I wash and detail my car then when I have no outside tap or a place to wash it safely without people driving past within a foot. And I don't fancy carrying around all the detailing products all the time in my boot.

Woo hoo some hot stuff going on here guys.
Surely it's upto the owner what he or she wants to do with there rcz, there's a never ending list of threads on here including some from myself about things that people have done or want to do to there cars. The point of this whole thing is for other owners to give there opinion and to add input but doing it without rubbing folk up the wrong way I think is important. CHILL ;)

Here's the link young lady so I'll be interested to see what you say

I can only say excellent choice :)

Kelly at KDS is a highly respected professional detailer over on Detailing World Forum.
The lengths he goes to on some of his details are astonishing.

Your car will be in safe hands with him and will set your RCZ off in the right way :)

Dodo Juice products are very good so your car will be well protected.

Hi,

I had mine done by Kelly at KDS about 4 months ago and I'm very pleased with the results. Pics are on here in another thread.

Cheers...

Mine
Must just have been lucky but i got it home on a sunny day and had a good look around and couldn't find a single mark was well happy, my bimmer had fine scratches on the roof when i got it

You were very lucky then big mac :)

And Jassy, swirl marks are on all cars, yes even white and there are some on mine too. However careful you are, you are always going to inflict swirls on the car, but to a lesser degree :)

Now come on you guys, play nicely now. There's no need for this bickering :)

i went through the list. after the claying i would add machine polishing if the car is not new, even if new in some cases like mine. you should get rid of the swirls. then apply the waxes etc.
