What have you all done to me!

I'm picking up my RCZ in 2 days and have already started looking up vehicle detailers, what have you all done! Needless to say I think I have the Z bug already :-D and long may it continue. I've found a Detailers very local to me and the dodo juice package, which takes up to 15 hrs they say, is £280 and seems very thorough indeed. Would you say this is a good price? I think a young lady on here will be THE knowledge ;-)

Oh yes, the lady in question will be very informative. The price quoted is comparable with the prices quoted by main dealers for the packages that they offer. You are getting 15Hrs of attention, whilst the main dealer will not spend anything like that time or be anywhere near as thorough. I would have no hesitation in recommending that you do go ahead with it.

The RCZ syndrome is a terrible affliction and I wish you well with it

You are quickly becoming my favourite person as you always refer to me as "young lady" Anyone who does that is ok in my book :)

The price you state sounds good. Do you know if that is an enhancement or correction detail? I think it was similar to the price that Donna had done, which was also a Dodo detail.

It's always nice to hear people are looking after their RCZs :)

Ha ha everyone is young at heart so if you can make people smile simply with words then why not do so, manners and politeness are free after all and should be used more often in my opinion.

Back on subject, if its ok with everyone I can post a link that shows what they do, I'm a genuine person and not promoting so I'll await a response.

Please go ahead. It only looks dodgy posting a link when it's your first post, which in the main, is spam.:)

Here's the link young lady so I'll be interested to see what you say

I can only say excellent choice :)

Kelly at KDS is a highly respected professional detailer over on Detailing World Forum.
The lengths he goes to on some of his details are astonishing.

Your car will be in safe hands with him and will set your RCZ off in the right way :)

Dodo Juice products are very good so your car will be well protected.

Thank you very much and very reassuring to hear good feed back at that he is rather well known, not bad seeing as he's practically on my doorstep. Time to save and pay him a trip me thinks :-D

Cheers Mr bee, sounds like you've had a detailing workout this weekend and would love to see some pics of your hard work, your baby sounds like she is a well pampered Z and I hope you get your master tuition sooner rather than later

Sorry to rain on the parade but getting a new car detailed as soon as its out the showroom to me is unfathomable by all means maybe 6 month's to a year after purchase the cars appearance won't look any better other than under a magnifying glass save yourself some money and take your Mrs away in the car a wknd end break in a nice hotel instead of a stupid detail even do it yourself its far more rewarding and far cheaper this is O.C.D

The cars come off the production line, sit around outside, unprotected, get trailered to the showrooms, then washed by the cheapest labour force dealers can get.
Detailing and protective products on a new car make perfect sense to me if you want to keep it pristine.
RCZs deserve to be kept that way.

If the detail last 6 month the it only cost 46 per month do really it's not the much!

Yea but surely unless it's covered in swirls after bad dealer prep, it'd be much more rewarding to wax or seal it urself, only take couple of hours and cheaper :eusa-think:

First and foremost if you read some of my posts PROPERLY then I said I would be saving up for it so to me that says I'm not getting it done straight away and so it was research. Secondly, the car is a year old and not brand new. I also live in an apartment, with no covered parking so the car is going to be kept outside ALL the time so to me getting a PROFESSIONAL to clean and protect the car as early as possible would be a good thing, prolonging the colour and paint condition and to me seams logical. And finally I don't have a missus, that's why I can get my Z :-D

Forum's can be very frustrating, look at another thread "why didn't you get a ......" where I posted something along the lines of if YOU like it then YOU do it! Rant over, enough said!!!
