Took my car in to the dealer today for the handbrake tightening as it had become quite loose,bearing in mind the car is 6 months old. So got the car back, all good I thought.
Drove it back,thought bloody hell this derv is slow ( I don't usually open it up) then got onto my usual stretch of motorway and my mpg was atrocious. So Ipulled over just incase something was wrong, checked the rear wheels and the disks were scorching and the alloys were hot.
They had tightened the handbrake so much that it never released. So I had to drive it the 30 miles back to get it sorted and not so much as an apology.
Makes me wonder where all the decent mechanics went if even a main dealer can't sort out a handbrake.
