Rczmk said:Well I'm a full time Radio Engineer. Which in short means I supply the UK with its mobile phone network, mainly for Orange & T Mobile (everything&everywhere as they are now called). Also supply a lot for O2.
I have also created a whole new TETRA band airwave system for the emergency services, which now allows emergency services to talk to each other all across the UK.
The company I work for also covers all military radio across the UK & Europe.
Currently working on the LTE 4G systems.
Systems include anything from standard In building office solutions to thousand ft masts around the UK.

Left school after 6th year to do a 4 year apprenticeship as a draughtsman while going through uni on a day release basis to do civil engineering, left the wee town in 2009 to start work in Aberdeen and now back at Open uni with the aim of getting my masters ... plus the fact I never went to my RGU graduation (business meeting yo!) in 2010 and as such don't have a picture for my granny's wall.... To which I'm reminded of constantly.... So essentially im doing OU to get a picture taken....![]()
