So if the rcz has some cheap plastic bits on the doors ie door bins which car interior doesn't have those or which car has the ideal interior ?

Good point, and I cant disagree, however all my point was that it would of been nice if Peugeot took this "facelift" opportunity to bin the nasty plastic . The RCZ deserves better.
After all they haven't exactly pushed the boat out on this so called "facelift" .

I love the sparkly bits!!!

Not sure if we are all talking about the same plastic bits :eusa-think:

I like all the chrome bits around the clocks ect

It's the black nasty "grain look" plastic I think lets the interior down, on the door trays, around the center console by the handbrake, and the glove box, coin tray ect.

Well I'm well up for changing all these bits to carbon fibre or wrapping them. Just waiting on Starky's availability and RCZperformance's pricing.

When you consider a decent spec'd Fiesta is sitting around £17K and a run-of-the-mill Focus without many toys is about £18K then the RCZ, being a bit more special to look at, isn't that dear........ isn't the 208 sitting around £18K for a top spec one??

The 208 GTI is going to come in around the £18.5k mark. My Fiesta Zetec S was around £16.5k once the street pack was added (bigger alloys, side skirts etc).

Actually German cars not so great according to auto express they are most likely to break down or have other manufacturing faults.

So as long as it's nice to look at it doesn't matter that it won't start? Too bad germans don't make any good looking cars then

Expensive

If you was to pay that little for a Boxster, in would be very poorly spec'd, not equivalent to the RCZ

Can't help but think peugeot have missed a trick by not introducing keyless entry and keyless start, this would have made the MK 11 massively more attractive in my opinion, however this car remains a stunningly affordable sports coupe :sleeping-yellow:

Now...I have enjoyed reading everyone's posts and thoughts and I don't want to be a complete "thread nazi" (never really been into embroidering the uniforms of fascists...or anyone else for that matter ) but...have we not rather collectively digressed from the best things about the new RCZ...:eusa-think:

I have decided that I rather like the new sat nav system too. A significant improvement on the original I believe. (Although, does this one have a full post code entry option yet...anyone?)

Based purely on rumour as I have not even set eyes on the new RCZ so certainly have not toyed with the new sat nav. However it appears from what I hear not to be an upgrade at all. I love and use the 10gb hard drive that is non existent (apparently) on the new media system and the sat nav were you have to enter a full address because it does not accept postcodes!!!
Sorry that does not encourage me to swap my original RCZ

No post code option on the RT6 Sat Nav system. You have to enter a full address. Not the quickest way, but I'm sure we would soon get used to it. It doesn't have the inbuilt hard drive but it now enables compatibility with iPhone/iPod or other devices so you will have all your music with you. These are the main differences that I can see between the two systems. I look forward to trying mine out when the new car arrives.
