Just sitting here what everyone else likes and dislikes the most about their jobs. For me;

Like = 12 weeks holiday a year (excluding public holidays)
Dislike = The endless bureaucracy, paperwork and internal politics.

Likes the money.
Really don't do any actual work that's what the robots are for :)
Dislikes working shifts
Corporate BS
5 whys
A3 lites
Pit teams
Quarterly reviews :(
Oh and working inside during a heat wave.
Ps sure I'll think of a few more
Jbs job breakdown sheets. Once companies start using robots they see they do the same job the same way everything. So they then try to turn people into robots by making them do the same job the same way every time jbs the bane of the manufacturing world. Cheers Toyota although judging by the fault recalls lately they didn't practice what they preached rant over ;)

Likes: the working environment and the way we're all treated as 'family', even though there's over 30 of us.
Dislikes: 'some' corporate clients who ask for the earth (which we CAN normally deliver within a reasonable time scale!) but then find it difficult to pay their bill! WTF!

I like my team and the flexibility in hours. I only have to work 35 hours a week. The money isnt bad, but could always be more :p I like the fact that without me, the system I built within my department wont work without me lol.

I dont like the mis trust from the people I audit, always trying to prove me wrong. I currently dislike not knowing if my job is secure as the company lost £775m last year and they are selling parts of the company off and laying people off.

Like: The view, the money, how far my annual leave goes (not quite up to teacher levels sadly), every shift is massively different

Dislike: Some of the incredible rumour spreading, started mainly due to boredom, and I thought the people who I met during my investment banking interviews were bitchy.... oh, and not enamoured by those night shifts either ;-)

Travelling the world, meeting new people, doing different jobs each day, managing my own time, making friends with celebs & most recently learning new cooking tips from the pros hehe ;-) :geek:
I always hate doing my tax returns at the end of the year and the stress of having to meet deadlines each week.

May I ask what you do for a living ? It all sounds very exciting. Not mundane like being stuck in an office all day, like me :)

I do quite a lot of varied things.... As an example I am a games tester... so I play computer games during development stages and report back to development team with bugs. I write reviews each week.... Sometimes I play games for over a year and STILL bugs come up. The release dates often day changed 10 times because of it. It gets boring after a while no matter how much I LOVE games.
I build computers for fun but also get a few jobs related to that too.
I work at a lot of events and exhibitions promoting various people and products.
I'm a dancer so I perform at events, shows, and musical theatre productions.
My work varies really but I am always busy doing something. I'm just too restless to sit in an office all day or be stuck with the same routine.

Well I'm breathless just reading all that. Not sure I could pay computer games all day though. So when do you get time to drive your RCZ ? ;)

Haha... Today was the ONLY day I got to give it a proper drive as I was working in Kent, however it was full of speed cameras along route. I am off to the US this weekend for 10 days so I shall be away from my car for a while ;-(
Do you guys like playing games? If so what are your faves??
I LOVE action and shooting games like Time Crisis, and adventure classics such as Zelda.... etc When I buy a house I want to have a room with arcade games in it.

Im not much of an arcade gamer. I like games with an open world. I.e GTA, Burnout paradise, Final fantasy etc. And Racing games like Forza. :)

I don't really like many arcade games other than ones with guns that make you feel like you're part of the action. House Of The Dead & Time Crisis are cool ;-)
I have loads of games on Playstation & Xbox. I might play some kinect games later.

Seems like everyone on here enjoys their job which is nice!!

Your job(s) sound awesome!! Joh Torode(?) looks like he's made of cardboard in that shot!!

I love gaming and recently upgraded my xbox 360 to an xbox one. I've been pretty disappointed by the titles thus far but did enjoy Watch Dogs and Need for Speed Rivals. However, I'm a BIG fan of FIFA but this is mostly because of my love of football. Love the sound of your arcade room!! I want a boy's/Aaliyah room (I mean the latter quite innocently and not in a sinister way  ) but all plans for that are cancelled in favour of a nursery!!!

Mrizzle now you mention it... we all look a bit like cardboard in that photo haha. Maybe its time to upgrade my compact camera. Either that or we all need to work on our expressions :p
The Xbox One controller design was changed at last minute.. the demo versions were really cool with digital screens. PS4 also were doing the same too but Im guessing they may hold back as a potential to make more sales at a later date.
