You can imagine how happy and fortunate I am and feel. Finally in my hands, I am like a kid on Christmas day. After 2 hours at the dealer, it is now all mine. I manage to take a few pictures, unfortunately it got cloudy, but no matter the conditions, looks fabuolous.

Thanks guys for your nice comments, as a matter of fact I am now 100% sure that I made the right choice of colour and also the wheels, they are even better than I hoped for, looks stunning with those wheels. I have to admit that I had some doubts abouth the wheels as I choose them without seeing them in the flesh. It turned out to be a great choice after all, it looks extremely agressive and a mean machine. I have been all day admiring it and discovering the Satnav and multimedia functions, I have to confess that I was worried about the system after a few bad comments in here, but at the moment I think is a good system, the only pitfall is with the Apple Ipod connectivity though.

Also annoying is the energy saving mode, I don't think is energy efficient at all to have to have the engine running to listen to the media system after 10 minutes. I think Peugeot should made some changes in that via software of the managment system. Otherwise a very happy bunny here.

Thanks David for the comments on the car and pictures.
It was certanly not intended as a review, nor would I dare to, just my very first personal views after a few hours of ownership. very happy with it so far and I hope it will continue that way.

Lovely car Cristian. Its a small world when you have a Chilean man living in UK driving an RCZ and an Englishman living in Chile driving one too...and both on this forum! Enjoy your car...I still am...and I think I have more chance to "stretch it's legs" than you do with all those horrible cameras everywhere!

Thanks Valle Norte, well hopefully we may meet someday either in the UK or in Chile, I was in Santiago in November 2011, I wonder why is the reason for that avatar name of yours, I first thought you were in the "Norte chico" region, (Pisco region), but it seem that you live in Santiago.

At least as you say, you can stretch the legs of your RCZ without the cameras being everywhere. but beware of the carabineros as they tend to surprise you when you least expect it. Also you get longer good weather, as in here the summer is very short if we get any, it has been raining in the London region all Easter weekend apart from friday that is.

I live in Valle Norte (North Valley) in Chicureo, 15kms north of Santiago. Been down here almost 20 years now. Summer is drawing to a close here but still mid to late 20's so no complaints. So did you go for the 156 or 200 model? Those wheels do look great against the body colour! Hope it is easier to clean than my black RCZ...its a real pain to keep clean but sooo worth it when it is...even if it only lasts for 2-3 days! Salud!

Valle Norte, Yes I know Chicureo, but I have been in the UK for nearly 30 years now and I did not know that it was a place called Valle Norte in the Chicureo area, Santiago has changed so much in the last 20 years, that i feel like a tourist every time I visit.

I went for the 200bhp GT and fully loaded and for that particular colour as I also have a black Audi which is a pain to keep clean, specially here that it rains often and for those reasons I went for an easier colour to maintain, The Mercury Grey looks even better in the flesh than on pictures which do not make justice to the colour, also the Sortilege Midnight Silver 19" wheels are the perfect combination for the colour and looks really good with them. I see you have the same wheels on yours.

Salud too, please do have an empanada and a nice glass of chilean wine in my name.

Valle Norte is really South Chicureo. Its just over the hill from Huechuraba. It's probably an invented name for the area that is now home to some condominios! Its nice and peaceful and out of the madness that Santiago is becoming! From the photos of your car you live in the countryside in UK? I love driving the country lanes in UK but alas I only get the chance in a boring Avis car. I can't really justify renting an RCZ when go back to UK! When I do go over I spend most of my time in Northamptonshire, Wiltshire and Devon so I put in a few miles. Driving in UK is so pleasant after my daily "cross my fingers, hope I'll make it" drive to work here! Very stressful. Regarding the wheels...they look stunning. I think they are the best colour available. Happy driving!
