You may get no joy but you could try writing to Peugeot head office asking them to to fix it under warranty. The reason I suggest this is because if you search some recent threads in the forum you'll see that one or two European countries issued a recall to fix this, but not the UK. That seems unfair to me for people who's cars are out of warranty.

Update on this...got it diagnosed as the temp sensor so my local peugeot garage has ordered one and I'm booked in for Friday to have this fitted at no cost of mine so that's good  .

Yip so far......sayin that I wasn't happy when I went in with my 207 xs sport turbo once it was 6month old and the timing chain was rattling, cutting a long story short and a few arguments with a certain member of staff I had to pay for it :brickwall: But things have changed scince then and so far I can't nock them for the service they are providing.

Hi there,

Sorry my first post

Think I might be in the same boat and mines going into robins and day derby tomorrow. Out of warranty last month with 15k on the clock.

Just looking for some ammo before I go in as I'm expecting them to make me pay

I noticed costs varied widely between our two local peugeot franchises (about 30 miles apart and I'm slap bang between the two)...one being national firm Arnold Clark and the other being independant Gillanders. Needless to say I'd rather give the local firm my cash...and being cheaper is a bonus!
