Think of the miles you've saved in yours though bud ;-) silver lining and all that  had my fair share of probs with mine but still love her :D

Well she's back

The garage mot'd her for FREE. Gave me a 2 yr manufacturer warranty upto the value of the car FREE

Offered me a FREE service but because I have a service plan they said they would look into a spare wheel for me.

They retracted it FREE. Wheel balanced the front wheels for me FREE. replaced a panel and footwell light and an engine cover panel for me FREE.

SG PETCH at Darlington North Yorkshire are fantastic and have recouped my faith in dealerships.

My beautiful girl has been valetted (not as good as Kerry does but it's a start) and we have driven 30 beautiful miles together so far. She sounds ace

So bring on the Yorkshire meet I say hooraa

That's great news J

We needed a good news story on dealerships after recent posts.

I hope you now enjoy your RCZ to the full and look forward to meeting you at the Yorkshire Meet :)

That's great news and I hope you now keep the car. The 2 year warranty is a particularly nice thing to have. I've heard good things before about Petch's. Think they are a Fiat dealership as well and have a good reputation with Fiat 500 owners.

Another 60 miles today and the black beast is running ok

Just need some detailing lessons now, I have tried some bilberry wheel cleaner today but insides of the rims are still dirty it looks like the dirt is pitted into the alloy :(

Brought some cleaning stuff to include snow foam, carnauba wax, maguiers wash and wax, and other bits too.

Some G3 stuff for the swirls and a clay bar kit.

So here's to getting on with detailing hopefully

Pics and reports will follow

Kerry
I use soft brushes and clothes, it looks like its from the rear disc, when they get wet then drip on the inside of the wheel

Thanks for your comment CatherineF.

I used to live down in Wiltshire near Melksham, there are some fantastic roads down there to throw your RCZ around :)

Take care
