She's not brand new (April 2011) but she is a dream waiting to happen.

Like a pregnant father ive 7 to 10 days to go till I see her for the first time in the metal

I'm like a child waiting for Christmas

Looking at some of your babies I can see the passion.

Hi jase , and welcome. I picked up a black 200 Thp few weeks ago , 60plate ,11000mls, and too got a check engine light on the way home from the garage :thumbdown: but hey don't let it get to u , once it's sorted and your on the road it'll all melt away :D , yes they've got niggles like every other car , but unlike every other car it's easy to forgive cause there so amazing . I've just had the temp light problem flash up , and guess what , who cares , I'll take it in get it done , big deal , I knew mine hadn't been done yet so I expected it at some point. There's only a handfull of niggles and your not guaranteed to get all or any of em anyhow. Wait till you open up the 200 when u get it back, that little bit extra is gonna make u smile....... Your gonna love it mate. :dance:

Hi Lainey,

I know exactly what you mean mate, I did get 40 mins of pure heaven before she blew thou

and the good thing is its still under manufacturers warranty so I get a new HP fuel pump for nothing :thumbup:

Must admit thou the 63 plate 156 version they have given me drives totaly differently to the 200bhp.

Cant wait, part comes in on thursday so I will be like a big kid on Friday again.

And if its not ready I still have the 156bhp to play with

Garage phoned me today confirming High Pressure fuel pump is broken :thumbdown:

New one arrives Thursday so may get RC back by Fri/Sat :clap: I sure hope so

On the good side I've been getting 42mpg out of this new 156 petrol they have given me to use

Still waiting for the paperwork Jase :-(. Garage said as soon as I receive V5 and tax disc to ring and they will sort out swapping the cars over....I'm keeping fingers crossed it all arrives in time for this weekend! The waiting is AGONY I tell you...AGONY!!!

Jimbo, that's an interesting statement on which I feel you should elaborate further! :eusa-think:

What I meant by that statement is, the handling seems to be tighter on the 200 which I believe could be due to the setup of the suspension and drive train.
The obvious point as well is that the 44 extra BHP seems to make hell of a difference on what really is an identical car.
Ive not been driving them long so im no expert by far, I just think that now ive fully driven both of them I would pick the 200BHP version everytime.

Downside is ive been pulling 44mpg on the 156 version where as my 200 version ive not really got anymore than 37mpg at the moment. Perhap when i put my slippers on and my flat cap I may get more :)

But whatever said they are both beautiful cars and I can't believe how I feel about a car again, I feel like i felt when I passed my test back in 1988 and had my first car :)

Hey Jase , I've not driven the 156 , I booked a test drive at Peugeot for the 200 and was smitten so I just bought one 3 days later, I've heard the 156 is a lot smoother and more compliant on our uk roads , and as most of the time we just cruise in these cars it's probably the best option to be fair . That said if you've had speed , like speed , need speed then the 200 is for you lol (long as u don't mind the mpg and bumps) can't vouch for the 156 but the brakes and turn in on the 200 are impressive indeed. Think it would match my tvr round a fast island and that's got a race setup onit !!!!! What's that all about lol.Roll on fri mate got my fingers crossed for you buddy . Yes mate they are a totally different drive between the two, but I am so glad ive brought the 200 now.
Your car looks exactly the same as mine but with the added bits :dance:
I have been looking at your workmanship and to say the least its fantastic mate

I use Jimbo as my user name as I used to be in the RAF and I did alot of flying so the lads used to say hey up here comes Jimbo (as in Jimbo and the jetsets) so the name stuck for ever more, the 40 is my stopping point in life lol
I hit 40 and ive never aged since :eusa-whistle:
In fact now ive brought this RCZ I think im actually getting younger again lol. I feel like im 18 again :mrgreen:

Picking it up at 4.30pm!!! The garage asked what time I finished work and I said that was completely irrelevant...I would be picking it up as soon as it was ready!!! Work colleagues will be glad to get rid of me for some peace and quiet!

At last she's a beauty

Apart from the swirls the paint work feels like glass.
She can roar again now too :thumbup:
