Victim of Vandalism

Last night when I finished work, I got to my car in the car park and realised that someone had smudged paint on my car, deliberately. Luckily when I got home I managed to get it off with a lot of quick detailer but I'm still shocked that anyone would do such thing. No other car I was near was affected. Personal attack or random? Will post a picture when I get on my Mac.

Probably not personal, but definitely due to the car.

I had a 106 for three years and nothing happened to it. The first week (or two) I had the RCZ someone was kind enough to write the 4 letter C word in the dirt on the spoiler.

Jealousy, mate. That's all it is.

Fortunately, I have never been a victim, but it is mostly out of jealousy and lack of respect of things people have worked hard for.

Sorry to hear of this, I feel sick at the thought of returning to something you cherish & find something like this has happened . . . . . hopefully it's just a random one off.

It might be worth checking to see if any security type CCTV cameras are in operation in or around the car-park?

Funny you say that about the CCTV. I work as a Security Officer at the place it was parked at, unfortunately the camera pointing towards my car wasn't recording at the time of the incident. I went in on Monday morning (my day off) to have a look at the CCTV, but nothing

When someone caved my door in and left without leaving his insurance details. I tracked down the cctv footage but they would not release without the police being there. Fantastic hey?!

Sorry to hear that sum person (by want of a more fitting word) has done that to your car. I can emphasise with you as prior to purchasing "the big blue" I had a Celica and one morning I got up to find paint stripper had been poured all over it!! I still ponder as to how the Hand Of God would have directed me to act had I caught the Person doing it, i.e.: Turn The Other Cheek OR An Eye For An Eye.

Take deep breaths and hopefully not too much damage was done and you'll soon have it back to its gleaming self :greetings-wavingblue:

That's annoying but I know that it's to do with Data Protection. At least that's what it is where I work. If anyone requests footage it had to be sent to head office for them to delete or blur any one/thing else in the video.
