Great drone shots

This first few were taken in the same field my daughter recently left from for a hot air balloon ride if I'm not mistaken :eusa-think:

I went with her to take some photos as she left. There was a Virgin Balloon and the Happy Birthday one she went up in. They left more or less together. Can't have been when you went though, or you would have seen my Z :D

Nice photos of your new R  (& your ex) :)

Thanks again for the nice comments

Just adding a couple more - promise not to bore you !

But these are a clean Z and whats commonly called a " dronnie" yes I know, I won't use that kind of terminology again ha ha.

Her & Him so you can put a face to the name !

Cleaned honest.

View of Chimney Bank, some of you may have seen this to the left on route to Hutton-le-Hole

Close up, you can see the old mine workings etc,

and an old farm house left to the rabbits and sheep. these shots were 2km+ away.

Photography is one of my hobbies and having the drone stretches my photographic opportunities further.
Like all things, if used correctly they are an aid and don't deserve the bad press banded about by ill-informed politicians.
Sorry about that I'll go away and wash my mouth out !!

Thanks again everyone.

We use drones a lot at work, we use 4k video and grab a series of stills from them to create surface mesh 3d models to use in CAD software to help design things.

Drones have many uses for terrain mapping, archaeology, geology, surveying, photography etc etc etc.

As per any new technology there will be the responses we come to expect from the doom mongers, and of course if used incorrectly some of it is justified, but for the most, these are used within the law or as I like to interpret - within the spirit of the law

Anyways don't want to turn the forum into a political platform so ... end of that preach

Hope everyone enjoys the photography, especially for those who for whatever reason have little or no chance of seeing our beautiful countryside !!
