Tyres for winter

Hi,

The newbie from Sweden here again! I would like to advise you guys on some really good tyres for winter that I use for my RCZ. From what I have heard it is illegal to drive with stubbed/spiked tyres in UK. I live in Sweden and I don't use spiked either. So here is some pictures of my Pirelli Winter IceControl tyres.

Well, they certainly look like they would do the trick.

They are pretty new! I used them last winter and they didn't disappoint me. Our winters are pretty intense in Sweden.

That depends where you live in Sweden m8 :)
I'd say the "winters" in south of sweden where I live are like a long boring autumn with rain, wind and darkness from november until end of march. If there is some snowfall it usually dissapears by the next day or so.
We do get alot of wet and sometimes it freezez so for me it's studded tires that does the trick.

Looks to be about 12mm of grip on those lol

Had snow tyres on the alfa last winter and must admit was amazed at the difference even in just cold weather.

If I had the resources, (ideally a couple of spare rims) I would most certainly have a couple of these beauties on the front of mine for when the weather turns nasty ( so that's August-June in Yorkshire, oh and the odd day through July too :wtf: )

Only putting proper winter tyres on the front will just make handling less predictable.
In many countries it is actually illegal to do so.
Do all corners or leave it.
