Traffic news

I've had the car for nearly two years now, still love it but...
how do you stop the Traffic news on the radio whenever it is transmitted.
I've tried changing it to only broadcast on a given route from the SatNav and it comes on when there's no destination set, its driving me up the wall.
Any help much appreciated as it doesn't seem to be covered in the manual.

Click the voice command button on end of steering wheel stalk and say "TA off".
To turn back on say "TA on". I've set my sat Nav up to auto redirect automatically without prompt when it finds a quicker route. So much more convenient and no longer have to read and acknowledge all the traffic messages
