Hi all,
I have posted before concerning TPMS fault that appears after 8 to 10 miles, The fault appears then 5 seconds later it resets itself, but the fault is still on the onboard diagnostics test.[tyres not monitored]
Its the front drivers side always. Tyre pressures are spot on,
I have had two new TPMS fitted but after 8 to 10 miles it appears again.
also i have had a exterior diagnostics done but no faults appear ,on a cold start up there are no faults.

Any thoughts or information will be appreciated.

Regards Dave.

TPMS starts sending when moving. So that’s why at cold start no warnings appear. The facelift RCZ is auto-learning, but I do not know about the older version. You might need to (re) assign the TPMS ids using specialist hardware.

new TPMS fitted all round . cost a fortune
the garage used a scanner and registered all four are working they swapped out the offending sensor with another new one
but it still came on after 8 to 10 miles [Tyres not monitored]
I have used I-Sensor TPS 03, not cheap £40.00 each.
Regards, Dave

Then there must be a fault with the receiver (or connector/wires)? I swapped out all 8 sensors in my wheels last year myself. They were instantly recognized. No programming needed.
Do you have access to someone with DiagBox or another generic OBD reader? Maybe that points to something. And probably you can turn off the warning/module with DiagBox.
