Thanks, so I will order a CQuartz wool wash mitt, a E Z Detail 450mm large brush and a Valet pro Wheel Cleaning Brush as I cannot find a Swissvax detailing brush unless someone knows where I can get one. Also is a Mequires lambswool wash mitt not as good as the cquartz one

You can get a Swissvax Detailing Brush here. They are much softer than the VP wheel brush.

The Meguiars wash mitt is not as good as the Cquartz one. Cquartz mitt is extremely soft and if you look after it properly will last for ages. Give it a brush after every wash, when ts dried and dry it on the line.

What do you recommend cleaning the front windscreen with seeing as sponges are off the menu

Your wash mitt when you wash.
Gtechniq G6 glass cleaner after you've dried the windows.
Preferable to coat your glass with G1 as it stops things sticking to your windows.

I've read up a bit on the EZ detail brush as the insides of my solstice's are starting to get dirty!

Just how 'safe' is the brush? I've seen RCZ1's video on cleaning alloys and this is used but the alloys are silver so would be less prone to show any scratches. With my black ones they'd show up easily!

Any advice appreciated!

Yeah...don't buy them. I'd recommend wheel woollies instead. They're safer and gentler on the finish. I use these having read a few posts about EZ brushes scratching gloss black alloys on DW. Have never had a problem with the wheel woollies. Just have myself to blame for kerbing the bad boys...

Yes wheel Woolies are best on black alloys. I use them on my OH's black alloys because they are very soft. However, I don't think they clean as well as the EZ Brush but on my wheels, I don't have the problem of scratching.

I too use Wheel Woolies without a problem. They have no metal in them to scratch anything :thumbup: In fact RCZ1 bought them for me for my birthday :clap:

It could be worse. My mrs saw mine and wanted a set for the house work :crazy:
