Tiny memory stick

If there's anyone else out there who thinks that the unfortunate positioning of the USB socket means it's only a matter of time before some clumsy dipping of hand into the centre console will either bend or break any memory stick inserted therein, then can I suggest you look at the SanDisk Cruzer Fit range? They are incredibly small and barely protrude from the socket; indeed it's possible to partially close the socket cover over it thus affording even more protection.

A 16Gb one will can be bought online for well under a tenner, including delivery, and will hold several thousand tracks, even using higher bit rates which seem to give a worthwhile improvement in sound quality over 128K. They come ready formatted to FAT32 so can be used right away, though it doesn't do any harm to reformat it and remove the various utilities that are so "helpfully" provided on the stick...
