THP200 Won't start, F303 Fault: configuration

Hi all, have not posted for a while. Having issue with my THP200. Info below.

Early Feb, changed the oil. I had driven it previously to get the oil up to temp.

-Drove the car up a ramp and fan went crazy. When I drove it before doing this I didn't notice the temp gauge going over 90
-Changed oil and got MOT done and it was ok for a couple of days
-It then started doing it again once or twice
-On the last drive I did, the fan kept going full blast and noticed the temp gauge would go over 90c then go back close to 90c before going up again. Unfortunately, I couldn't easily stopped so probably drove it like this for over 40-60 minutes in total
-The next day I tried to start the car and it wouldn't start. It cranked but would not start

Hooked up my diagnostic and first I got the following.
-P0117 coolant temperature signal intermittent
-F40A oil gauge fault
-F303 Fault: configuration

I tried BSI reset multiple times. Made sure battery is charged, now I keep getting the following error codes.

-F40A oil gauge fault
-F5FF Unexpected re-initialisation fault coming from the BSI.
-F303 Fault: configuration

I've tried so many BSI resets but no luck, has anyone had similar issue?

Checked the battery with a multimeter and looks OK. Just in case I also swapped the battery on my key fob.

I do have some corrosion on the positive terminal, have cleaned it up but will try to clean it up more tomorrow.

Just wondering whether I have a corrupt BSI.

The car cranks up and engine is trying to come on but not doing it.

It’s possible one of you engine temperature sensors is faulty, or the split loom for the temp sensors has a wire that is chaffed through earthing down and pulling you canbus communications out. if you can find your way to the thermostat housing and locate the temp sensor on it then follow along looking for damage or crusty pins. Think I would take cold air feed pipe out of the way and have a darn good nose at the loom in that area, some of the loom rests on the gearbox and if it’s ever been worked on in that area for say a thermostat housing or something, it may have been ever so slightly misrouted.
Reason I jump to that thought line is because of what you said about a slight temp wobble and the rad fan going hi speed.

Good point, thanks for that. Before the non start issue, I thought, it could be sensor issue and was planning to try to replace it.

Had the thermostat housing replaced a few years ago. Access is a bit of a challenge but should be doable with the battery removed.

Now the challenge is to get some proper time to o this.

F40A is attributed to the Oil level sensor Check the oil when cold if the fault is still showing when doing that then it may be the sensor needs replacing my 200 did the same after every oil change it dies off on the scanner it can actually be known as a fluke or ghost code
The F5FF can appear for Can bus BSI niggles possibly picking up the oil sensor issue I also had that 2yrs ago but that also it died off probably by reconfiguration by the BSI ?
F303 can occur with the BSI non configuration possibly after Battery issues fitting a aftermarket radio or interference from using incompatible Diagnostic tools altering programs which won't be recognised as in cowboy remaps it can also mean the BSI has detected a system mismatch & go into a secure mode state for safety reasons
