Hello everyone, I hope you have a good day :)

Can someone advise me please

I have a problem with economy mode in my Peugeot

After a visit to the mechanic, it was found that the battery is o.k

And the problem may be with the alternator or control module and this only the peugeot dealer can detect it: (And as you know they are not cheap!

So the car does not want to start from time to time, especially during the winter. I want to do the economically repair and buy a starter pack for the battery
The problem is that the plastic battery box , oes not give ame ccess to the negative pole. (It's just enclosed from this site access only to the plus +)
It is safe to just cut a piece of plastic out of this box? So that if necessary, easily and quickly connect a jump starter pack. How do you think guys??

.I. !). . .

There's a specific part to attach the negative clip to. It's detailed in the manual but it's a little bolt on the front right hand side of the engine bay when you lift the bonnet (right at the front, next to the right headlight).

Thanks a lot, I know which screw you're talking about.
Regards.
