There is special dispensation on this occasion. If they'd ever been in my classroom then they would know a lot about politics!! It's a lot less boring than it sounds though...you just need to find the "hook" for them and demonstrate its relevance to them. You'd be surprised at how many become quite passionate about it.

I might just not go to bed. I'm off tomorrow and Monday and my entire plan for tomorrow consists of detailing the car ahead of a VXR mega meet in Perth with 100 fellow connoisseurs of automotive excellence. ;)

Oh aye, you can hang around VXRs but you were always to busy for RCZs.....

It helps when the meet is a 10 hour round trip closer to home. You just spurned my every advance!!

Me? Me!! Where was my invite when you and Starky were having clandestine meetings at Tesco??? Eh? Eh? ;)

Anyhoo, back on topic, time for some shut eye, set my alarm for 0530 to catch the local results as they come in..........

Well...we did it and the political landscape will never be the same. I just hope that the Scottish people can show such passion and interest in future political debate. It'll be interesting to see how the SNP move forward with their most central political tenant having been spurned by the people of Scotland. Think the big fish will have to exit stage left now!!

I don't think the SNP have to disappear just because we've voted against independence. I've voted for SNP all my days but only because I wanted Scotland to be represented as well as possible. I've no interest in independence in itself and I'm relieved that many feel the same way.

Hi mrizzle, ...i was thinking that we had lost you for a time. As you have stated things will change, and the whole Island that is this green and 'united' land will now modernise politically in the same way that all institutions must in order to remain acceptable and fit for purpose in an ever changing interdependent world.

"False face must hide what the false heart doth know" (MACBETH) ,,exit stage left !

.the big blue (..mrizzle, i think the latter is what you hinted at isn't it?? My fave play AND still relevant to life today !)
